Much timeless wisdom is found in this week's Torah portion, Va’etchanan, as Moses reminds the Israelites that prosperity and happiness will come to those who live according to the guiding spiritual principles given at Mr. Sinai. He warns that death and destruction follow when these Holy guidelines are replaced with self will, selfishness, and materialism. Also, that the words in Torah are complete, and ought not be adjusted to meet the warped demands of those who suffer from the delusion that truths can be invented to suit unholy demands.
Some Torah based truth telling happened during our July 25, 2023 R&B Monthly Seminar from Jerusalem. We viewed several very informative short videos followed by open discussion that explored medicine, theology, philosophy, psychology, history, and spirituality. Today's newsletter features the video recording of that seminar.
Coming up in August, Turning Point USA is hosting a Young Jewish Leadership Summit in Redondo Beach, CA. We reached out to the organizers to learn about the event.
