2024 Legislative Session Begins

The 2024 Florida legislative session begins today, January 9th. We look forward to working with our legislative leadership and Gov. DeSantis to fund USF’s highest priority requests, including increased operational funding through the Preeminence/National Ranking program and the Performance Based Funding program. Top priority requests for USF facilities construction and maintenance funding for 2024 include completing the state funded portion of the critical new Environmental & Oceanographic Sciences facility at USF St. Petersburg, critical infrastructure upgrades to accommodate future growth and development on our campuses, and modernization upgrades to our Office of Veterans Success facilities across all three USF campuses.

We have had back-to-back historically successful legislative sessions and are grateful to our state leaders for their continued support and investment in higher education and USF!

2023: A Momentous Year, A Limitless Future

From #AAU membership, to the highest-ever #USNWR ranking, to a glimpse at the new stadium, a look back at #USF's momentous 2023. Thank you for your advocacy and support during this transformational year!

USF Football takes over Boca

First-year head coach Alex Golesh and USF Football wrapped-up a record-breaking resurgence in 2023 with a 45-0 victory over Syracuse in the Boca Raton Bowl.

The Bulls set twelve team records and sixteen individual marks during the 2023 season and logged the program's highest ranked recruiting class in a decade (No. 48 by Rivals) and highest ranked of any program outside the autonomous "power" conferences as USF heads full speed into 2024.

Thank you to all our fans and state legislators that came out and supported the Bulls during the 2023 football season. We cannot wait to see what next season holds for us!

Save the Date: January 31, 2024 is
