Thanksgiving Donation Drive Happening Now!
Pick up a shopping bag and list in the Gathering Space to help provide a Thanksgiving meal and/or a gift card this holiday season! All donations are greatly appreciated and will help make Thanksgiving a more joyful time for those struggling in our community. Please return all donations to the church by next Sunday, November 17 (on Sundays or Monday - Thursday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM).

Veterans/Armed Services Recognition
8:00 & 10:30 AM Services
We will be honoring our veterans, spouses and active military with a small token of our appreciation for their service. Both services will conclude with our traditional postlude, "A Tribute to the Armed Services.” Uniforms are welcomed and encouraged!

Episcopal Essentials: Being an Episcopalian

What does it mean to be an Episcopalian? All are welcome to learn more, ask questions, and join with others who are seeking a spiritual home. All interested in being Confirmed or Received into the Episcopal Church should attend.

Parents with children living in the home are invited to be together, share experiences, and have conversations about what being a parent looks like today.

Pageant Interest Meeting
12:00 PM in the Sanctuary
Calling all Elementary-aged children! Be a part of this year’s musical Christmas Pageant, Sing We Now of Christmas, on December 15 during the 10:30 AM service. Join us for a brief interest meeting this Sunday in the Sanctuary after the 10:30 service where you can hear some of the music and learn about the characters and speaking parts that are available.

Light Festival Build
Volunteers Needed

This week's weather has put a slight wrench in the Light Festival build plans. We won't be building today (Friday), BUT we plan to dig in tomorrow from 10:00 - 1:00....and in the weekends ahead. There's a job for everyone, and many hands make light work, so please join in the fun when you are available!

Stewardship Update
As of today we have received 140 pledges that represent a commitment of $597,576 to support our ministries in 2025. Half of the homes we have heard from have increased their pledges for 2025! WOW and THANK YOU! Our goal is $975,000, which we're confident we'll reach with your support. If you still haven't pledged, you can complete your pledge online by clicking below. Pledge cards can be mailed to the church or placed in the Sunday offertory plate on or before Celebration Sunday, next Sunday! As you continue to prayerfully consider how you are Called to Rise in 2025, we encourage you to please CLICK HERE to watch this week's short stewardship message from Wanda Berthelot. Tackling Food Waste!
"Sweet Conversations"

You won't want to miss this informative conversation led by Ambrose Feess-Armstrong, community education manager of Food to Power, a local nonprofit organization founded in 2013. Join over dessert to learn what action we can take to help address America's significant food waste issues. Please sign up so we plan appropriately for yummy desserts and food scrap samplings. Veterans Day Prayer
Almighty God, You know every veteran by name. You know their deeds, their hard work, and their perseverance. You know their needs, both material and spiritual. Please draw each one closer to you and grant them all the peace that passes understanding, the peace of Christ to rule in their hearts, and the knowledge of your love and grace. Amen.

Youth Lock-In
November 15 - 16
Middle and High Schoolers are invited to spend the night at St. Michael's! They will eat dinner, play games throughout the church, watch a movie, and hopefully get some sleep as well! Drop-off is at 6:00 PM on Friday night and pick-up is at 9:00 AM on Saturday morning!

College finals are right around the corner! Our middle and high school youth groups will be preparing care packages for our college students Wednesday, November 20. Greening of the Church

As we prepare for the celebration of Christ's birth, we will adorn the church with greens for the season of Advent. Please join if you like to hang wreaths, place trees, or fluff and hang garland. If you can climb a ladder, we particularly need you! Come for some or all of the morning as your schedule permits.

This Thanksgiving, St. Michael’s is once again hosting a warm and inviting potluck meal for those who are unable to travel or who may be spending the holiday alone. Join us for a delightful gathering filled with delicious food, heartfelt conversations, and a sense of community as we celebrate gratitude together. Everyone is welcome, so bring a dish to share and come enjoy a day of fellowship and joy!

Christmas Poinsettias & Brass Donations

Each year our staff and volunteers work hard to fill the church with beautiful poinsettias and glorious brass music (at 4:00 & 7:00 PM) for our Christmas Eve services. You are encouraged to help by making a donation in thanksgiving for or in memory of a loved one. Names will be printed in the Christmas Eve & Christmas Day Bulletins.

The Lost & Found located in the hallway outside of the church office is overflowing! If you've lost an item in recent months, please check to see if it's there. We will be donating all remaining items to an Outreach partner at the end of November.

Piano Wanted!
The St. Michael’s Music team is looking to upgrade our 100+ year old grand piano (located next to the organ). Ideally, they are looking for a 7-foot grand piano in great condition that is less than 40 years old. If you have one to sell or donate to the church, please contact Amalia Dobbins, Director of Music, at amalia@stmikeschurch.com to arrange a viewing and appraisal.
