Dear St. David Families,

Catholic education holds a unique and profound impact on individuals, shaping not just academic minds, but nurtiring the spirit and character as well. As a product of Catholic education, I reflect on the lasting influence it has had on my life.

One of the most remarkable aspects is the integration of faith into the fabric of learning. It goes beyond textbooks, fostering a deep understanding of morality, compassion, and a sense of responsibility towards others. The teachings instilled in me have become guiding principles, influencing decisions and interactions in a way that prioritizes kindness, empathy, and justice.

This week, we will celebrate the lasting impact our very own Mrs. Grace Gedeon has left on our St. David community. The Diocese of Oakland will be officially honoring her commitment to Catholic education with an award ceremony. A total of 10 teachers from elementary and high schools throughout the Diocese of Oakland has been honored with this award.

Our highly anticipated annual Crab Feed is just around the corner! Secure your tickets now for a night of delicious food and community spirit. Celebrate the Lunar Year with some amazing crab, community, and cheer! This event is expected to sell out, so act fast to guarantee your spot. Join us on Saturday, February 10th, for a memorable evening. Buy a table and get a 5% discount!

We are gearing up for a special celebration of our school's 60th anniversary during Catholic Schools Week. Your participation will make this week even more memorable, so mark your calendars for the festivities from January 28- February 2.

We invite all families to our Open House on January 28 immediately following Mass 12:00 pm to 20:00 pm. Explore our classrooms, meet our dedicated faculty, and experience the vibrant atmosphere that defines St. David School. This is. wonderful opportunity to witness the incredible achievements and growth our school has experienced over the years.
