As we approach this holy time of year, we wish our Jewish subscribers a Happy Passover, and we wish our friends a Happy Easter. We can join in celebrating a release from the slavery to selfish concerns and ego driven fears, and rejoice in a stronger connection to our Creator, who loves us and recreates us daily into His image so that we can act in the world to secure life and liberty and flourishing for all humans beings, especially those most innocent and helpless in the womb.

Israel's Chief Rabbis issue condemnation of abortion

Both of Israel's chief rabbis denounce abortion, make public appeal against the practice.

Finally, a clear message from Orthodox Jewish leaders! Rabbi Lau and Rabbi Yosef say, “Unfortunately, in recent years, awareness of this prohibition has declined. Thus, it is imperative to highlight to the public the matter in its full seriousness, and to make clear that according to the Torah, the fetus must be treated as a living being."
