Thursday, November 7 | Eastman at Washington Square: "ONYX Clarinet Quartet"
Eastman at Washington Square Concerts take place on Thursdays at 12:15 to 12:45pm in our sanctuary. November 7 is "ONYX Clarinet Quartet": The ONYX Clarinet Quartet, with Terry Gerber, Laurie Dobmeier, Roxanne Woy, and Alan Woy, was formed in 2010. The program will feature a wide variety of musical styles including classical, pop, jazz, klezmer, and traditional American and Latin music. Admission is free!
Saturday, November 9 | Housing For All: Community Forum on Homelessness
Please join us in the sanctuary at First Universalist or on Zoom from 1-3pm to hear Andy Carey from REACH Advocacy and speakers from other organizations. They will present the state of homelessness in Monroe County and solutions to this community problem. Questions? Contact housingforall@uuroc.org. Free on-street parking; handicap accessible.
November 9 and 10| Climate Revivals
UU Churches have been having Climate Revivals all over the country. There's a local one at First Unitarian Church of Rochester, at 220 Winton Rd S. on November 9 and 10. The first day is a varied program from 10am-3pm, with lunch included. The second day is a worship service at 9:15am and 11:30am.

Sunday, November 10| Book Group: Wouldn't Take Nothing for My Journey Now by Maya Angelou
The Book Group will meet at noon in the Chalice Room to discuss “Wouldn't Take Nothing for My Journey Now” by Maya Angelou. In her first book of essays, Maya Angelou shares the wisdom of a remarkable life in this best-selling spiritual classic of quietly inspirational pieces. It was published shortly after she delivered her poem at Bill Clinton's 1993 inauguration. It has been called one of her "wisdom books". You do not need to have read the book to participate. Join in a discussion about what we learned in the 2024 election. We will discuss theological orientations and how to best center ourselves in 2024 into the next 4 years for the road ahead. Rev. Winter Clothing Collection for Unhoused Folks
During the month of November, let's collect new or gently used winter clothing for folks living on the streets and in shelters. Warm socks, hats, gloves, even jackets and boots are welcome, especially in size large. Please bring them to the collection area in the Clara Barton Lounge.
