Olympia Parade

February 3rd

Founded in 1965, this 200+ member Krewe is one of the oldest in St. Tammany. Keeping the identity of King Zeus and the parade theme a secret until parade night, members ride on floats, trucks and horses interspersed with marching bands. The 58th parade will roll on Saturday, February 3rd at 6 p.m.The parade begins at the intersection of N. Columbia St. and Jefferson Ave., following Columbia south until it reaches East Boston St., where it will turn west. The parade then goes southwest on Jefferson Ave. At the intersection of S. Jefferson and East 15th Ave., the krewe will turn northwest and follow 15th St. On South Tyler, the parade turns northeast and proceeds to West 23rd Ave. It turns southeast and ventures back down to North Jefferson Ave. Rolling back down Boston, it turns north onto Columbia, ending where it began at the intersection of North Columbia and Jefferson Ave.


Eve Parade

February 2nd

The Krewe of Eve is a family friendly, must-attend premiere parade on the Northshore that features state-of-the-art, professional floats, popular marching bands, dance groups and civic organizations, bountiful throws and the Krewe of Eve Royal Court. The theme for their 38th annual parade: "Eve Makes THE Grade". The krewe also hosts a Dinner Dance, to be held Saturday, January 27.
Established in 1986, Krewe of Eve is an all female crew first paraded in 1987 with 260 members. Krewe members contribute to the community through the Greater Mandeville Police Foundation Gift Give-away and the Northshore Food Bank as well as litter pick-up and other activities.
