Dear Cromwell Community Members, 

The Construction Document estimate was within the project’s budget and the project is moving to the next phase. The team met with the State of Connecticut last week to review the drawings and bid documents. With the state’s approval, which is expected in October, the project will go out to phase two bidding. In this step, the Construction Manager will hire all the contractors for the project. 

The Planning and Zoning Commission will review the project site plan at its Oct. 3 meeting. This is to review an update in the site plan for the construction entrance. 

The phase one bidding of the project is complete. This was to begin the procurement process for longer lead time items, such as the electrical switchgear and to begin site preparations for construction access.
