Black History Month Programming 


February is Black History Month. Celebrate Black excellence this month, and beyond, and check out our programming from our member theatres. These events highlight and center Black theatres, artists, administrators, playwrights, and other creatives everywhere. Check out our members' MLK Day and Black History Month Programing here.

LOCT Annual Membership Surveys


The League of Chicago Theatres is initiating an annual survey amongst the membership to help improve our advocacy efforts, communications with theatres, resource gathering, program building, and membership marketing strategies. Access Surveys Here: Annual Membership Surveys


We are asking that each member organization please complete and submit ALL surveys by January 31, 2024. If you have any questions regarding any of the surveys, please contact Tony Bondoc, Director of Programming, at Tony@Chicagoplays.com.

CTW Continued on Hot Tix is back for the second year. Offer $15 or $30 tickets on Hot Tix from February 19-26 to keep the Theatre Week fun going! Our 45th Anniversary Programming


The League of Chicago Theatres is excited to invite you to its 45th Anniversary celebrations taking place all throughout 2024. The League is thrilled to be curating a monumental year of programming, including our Chicago Theatre Week Kick-off, the return of the League’s Career Fair, our Annual Gala, and our inaugural Community Empowerment Series. Click here for our list of events.

Join Forefront on February 6, 2024 for an intimate gathering of nonprofit executive directors, for a time of networking and engagement with an insightful and personal conversation led by Felicia Houston, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Human Development Counseling. She is the current Community Relations Specialist for Ingalls Behavioral Health Services. She has the unique skills to lead an insightful conversation regarding mental health and how leading can affect us.

Rising Leaders of Color is forming a cohort of six exceptionally talented early-career leaders of color from Chicago, IL who are advancing their careers in the U.S. not-for-profit theatre and related sectors, and who demonstrate the potential to impact the field in a positive way. Please note that the RLC 2024 cohort will not include individuals specializing in theatre criticism or journalism, as the RLC 2023 national cohort specifically focused on theatre criticism and journalism.
