Happy Holidays!

We are overjoyed to share that this holiday season we will adopt over 350 families through our Adopt-a-Family program and bring holiday cheer to over 1,000 more individuals through our community Toy Table! It may be cold outside, but we are toasty on the inside, overflowing with gratitude for our incredible donors. We celebrate you and your generous, kind hearts!

We're looking forward to the 7th Annual Operation Santa Claus this Saturday where 26 families are adopted and get to watch Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive by plane. We will be spending the morning in an airport hangar that will be transformed into a winter wonderland where children visit with Santa, play games, and enjoy fabulous food. A huge thank you to Reno Tahoe International Airport, Atlantic Aviation, Reno Tahoe Aviation Group, and the many airlines, airport vendors, and small plane pilots who adopted families to make this event a tremendous success.

We are so excited to be part of this season of giving by delivering gifts to families. It is truly wonderful to see the many ways your donations are directly impacting the lives of hundreds in our community. Your time and efforts to drop off toys and gift cards contribute to an unforgettable holiday season for so many children and families.

The Children's Cabinet Market (CC Market) is an incredibly special operation that exists to ensure local families have fresh, quality food they both need and enjoy. A big part of what we do here at The Children's Cabinet is breaking the stigma surrounding food insecurity and reaching out for help. Receiving services from The Children's Cabinet is easy and we make sure families feel supported through our wraparound case management services where clients are treated with dignity and respect.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, The Children's Cabinet was able to provide nearly 200 carefully curated food bags for our clients, each assembled with the same joy and thoughtfulness we put into our own holiday feasts.

We are grateful to each and every one of our supporters who made this possible including the generous folks at the NV Energy Foundation.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and we thank the NV Energy Foundation for being part of that village by committing $20,000 to support the CC Market and the security it brings to families in our community.
