The Conference theme of "Stronger Together" was chosen to demonstrate that in a world that often prizes individual achievements over collective success, we need a co-operative ethos now more than ever.

Em Kieffer, a newer member of Toronto's Urbane Cyclist, reflects on their first time attending a CWCF Conference.

Nouvelle recrue de l’équipe de Urbane Cyclist à Toronto, Em Kieffer a assisté cette année à son tout premier Congrès de la FCCT.

The CWCF board executive for the coming year will consist of Reba Plummer (Urbane Cyclist) as President; Evan Proven (Sun Certified) as Vice President; and Kelly Storie (La Siembra) as Treasurer. Other board members include Leslie Brown (Flourish), Chris Nichols (Woodshop), Tara Williams (GIA Consulting), and Quebec director Jessica Provencher (Réseau COOP). At the AGM, CWCF expressed its thanks to departing director Jared Blustein; his contributions and commitment have been greatly appreciated!

With the life motto of "The world hasn't been given us to contemplate but to transform" (Arizmendiarrieta), Tara is inspired not only by the potential of Co-operatives as a whole but by the strength of the Worker Co-operative movement to lead this change towards a transformed future.

The Co-op received the award in recognition of the horizontal management processes it recently adopted. Congratulations!
