BIPOC Discussion Circle

King's BIPOC Discussion Circle is a safe place to speak, be heard and relate to one another. There will be conversations about racism, discrimination, microaggression, sexism, and other important topics.

Meetings will include facilitators to help guide the group.

Interested in learning more about King's EconoMath Society? KEMS will be hosting a general meeting. They will be discussing their executive roles for next year elections to follow later in the semester). Fitness Room Hours


The hours for the Fitness Room KC003 located in the lower level in the King Student Life Centre are 6 a.m. until midnight, Monday - Sunday.


The Fitness Room has dedicated hours for women and non-binary individuals:


  • Tuesdays: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Thursdays: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.


We appreciate your cooperation in making our fitness facilities a welcoming space for everyone.

Nominations open for Awards of Excellence in Teaching



Do you have a particular King's professor who has positively influenced your education? Nominate them for the King’s Award of Excellence in Teaching for 2023-24.

 

These awards are based on evidence of continued contributions to the academic development of our students. All instructors, full- or part-time, with academic teaching responsibilities at King’s, are eligible to be nominated.

Grad Ball tickets now on sale!


It is time to bring out your old prom dress! The KUCSC is hosting the annual Grad Ball on March 1, 2024. The theme this year is Prom Night.


All students are welcome to attend and can bring a plus one, who does not have to be a King's student. There will be awards, a buffet dinner, champagne, music, and transportation from campus to the event.

Want to go paperless to promote your event? Submit a Video Bulletin Board (VBB), which are digital posters displayed across campus on TV screens.

 

Viewers only have five to seven seconds to read a VBB, so keep text to a minimum and ensure it is large, legible, and not too close to the edges of the design. Please note, Image size must be 945 px x 540 px.

Masses are offered in The Chapel at Windermere on the Mount (WOTM) on Sundays at 10 a.m. and at 5 p.m. followed by the community meal in the parish hall. Weekday Masses will be on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at WOTM and noon mass on Thursdays and Fridays at King's Christ the King Chapel.

Lenten Retreat for Busy People

March 3 - 6, 2024


This reflective experience takes place within the busyness of life. Participants gather for two, one-hour periods at the beginning and end of the retreat with a meal. Tools are provided to help deepen your relationship with God. Spiritual directors are available if desired. For more information or to register by February 23, 2024, click here.
