Meet Our Staff

Hi, my name is Theresa Atkins, and I am the Math teacher for the Vogelweid Learning Center. I have been teaching for 17 years, and all of those years have been with St. Peter. I attended college at Truman State University where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. I have been married for 14 years to my husband, Gordon, and we have three children attending St. Peter School. Our two oldest are in 6th grade and our youngest is in 1st grade. I grew up attending St. Joseph Cathedral Church, but we are now members of the St. Peter parish. Most of my time is spent driving my children to various activities, but when we have some free time we love having family board game nights. I love teaching at St. Peter, and I cannot picture working anywhere else!
