| We Serve Latinx/Hispanic Families in Kenosha, Racine & Walworth Counties | Something important, but not often talked about in the Latinx/Hispanic community, is mental health. Sometimes, people feel shy or unsure about asking for help with their feelings, especially if they're feeling very sad or worried. This hesitation might be due to their background or simply not knowing where to find the right help. We understand that it can be tough to seek help if you don’t have health insurance, but taking care of your mind is extremely important. At Pillar Health and Kenosha Community Health Center, we have Spanish speaking providers and support staff here to help you and your loved ones, regardless of whether you have insurance. |
Over 14,000 Patients and 40,000 Appointments in 2023
In 2023, we've significantly expanded and diversified our team to enhance the services we provide to you. Our esteemed group of providers has grown to include a Chief Clinical Officer (Dr. Sanborn), a Medical Director (Dr. Pulla), two Psychiatrists (Dr. McCarthy and Dr. Vassar), a Dentist (Dr. Finlay), a Dental Hygienist (Jodi Powell), four Nurse Practitioners, including a Telehealth Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and two Licensed Professional Counselors in Training.
Additionally, two of our Advanced Practice Social Workers have increased their training and have transitioned to Licensed Clinical Social Workers, broadening our capabilities in mental health care. Our support staff has also expanded, including various specialists, nurses and patient services staff. Leadership and administrative roles have seen the introduction of a Revenue Cycle Director, a Clinical Staff Educator, and a Financial and Purchasing Analyst, ensuring our operations are more efficient and patient-focused. These changes, including the transition of frontline staff to Tiered Patient Access Representatives, reflect our commitment to providing the best possible care, support and experience for our patients.
