DelawareLive reported that WILMAPCO, "wants your opinion on the future of Kirkwood Highway in its first comprehensive review of eight miles of the retail and business corridor."

Elected officials, experts, stakeholders discuss plans and benefits for Mid-Atlantic Hydrogen Hub

As reported by Delaware Public Media, "Elected officials and stakeholders are discussing the next steps for the Mid-Atlantic Clean Hydrogen Hub. Delaware’s Congressional delegation gathered with industry leaders to discuss the future of a multi-state hydrogen hub which received a $750 million U.S. Department of Energy grant in October."

Delaware Department of Transportration honored for reducing severe crashes at intersections using all-way stop control.

As reported by the Roadway Safety Foundation, "The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) was honored with a 2023 National Roadway Safety Award for significantly reducing fatal and serious injury crashes at 20 intersections by converting them to all-way stops."

As reported by the Newark Post, "Residents may one day be able to board a train in Newark and ride to southern Delaware and Salisbury, Md., according to a proposal that has received federal money for a feasibility study."

Amtrak reports corridor ridership rising above pre-pandemic levels

As reported by Delaware Business Now!, "Amtrak reported a strong recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic on its Northeast Corridor route that has stops in Wilmington and Newark, DE. In fiscal 2023, more than 28 million customers rode Amtrak nationwide, fueled in part by growth on the Northeast Corridor (NEC), where ridership is booming."
