"Believe in the Magic of the Season"

On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, over 136 families attended with children receiving gifts for Christmas with the goal to improve literacy, reading, comprehension, and change the narrative of traumatic circumstances that affect children and their academic futures. Every child received a bag with 3 books, a writing journal, a stuffed animal, a pencil box, and a food coupon from Canes.

Professional Development

Ghana's first International Educators' Summit will be held July 5-7, 2024 in the vibrant capital city of Accra. The summit is being organized by the Ghanaian affiliate of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), a non-profit organization founded in 1943 with more than 125,000 members from more than 128 countries. For the past three years, our Ghana-based affiliate has been collaborating closely with the Ministry of Education as a lead partner on a project to establish a national system of leadership development and licensure. In the process, we have recognized a tremendous love of learning and thirst for networking in the Ghanaian education professional community. In July 2024, we will host a conference to quench that thirst.
