"My inspiration to join Achilles came from their athletes with disabilities," says Lucia, an Achilles Mexico volunteer guide. "The strength they show despite adversities motivated me to support them in achieving their goals. I have learned a lot from each athlete I have had the privilege of getting to know closely; they never cease to amaze me and teach me the beauty of life."
