AUMC YOUTH FUNDRAISER
Sunday, January 14, 11am-12:30pm
Please stop by the church kitchen on Sunday, January 14 from 11-12:30 (or until sold out) to purchase lunch to go! The Youth will be serving meals of chicken spaghetti, salad, and garlic bread, packaged to-go. They will be accepting donations to support Youth programming in 2024. AN OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE
We have a wonderful team of ushers, but we need more volunteers for the 11:00 service. This involves being friendly, arriving 15 minutes before the service, handing out bulletins, recognizing new faces, collecting the offering and picking up pew pads after the service. On the job training is available! If you are interested or need more information please email Scott Sadler at jscottsadler@aol.com.

ADULT MISSION TRIP
February 4-8, 2024
The Mission Center in Conroe, a mission of the Texas Conference, responds to disasters with pre-assembled kits to serve emergency needs. They include flood buckets, hygiene kits, and adult and child backpacks. Aledo UMC is sending our sixth team to the Mission Center February 4-8! Sign-up at the Connection Center; deadline is January 14 or when filled.
If you cannot go, but would like to support the mission, please consider donating the following supplies for the disaster relief kits:
- Bath towels, new and unwashed
- Adult toothbrushes, in original packaging
- Children's toothbrushes, in original packaging
- Crayons, new, 24-count packages
- Spiral notebooks, single subject, wide or college ruled
- Hand wipes, 20-60 count per pack
Items may be left in the marked bin in the Narthex. Thank you!!

MEN'S DEVOTIONAL BREAKFAST

Men, start your week with a brief devotional, led by David Stubbs. Burritos and coffee will be served. This is an opportunity to meet new people and decompress. The goal is for those not retired, to get back on the road by 8:15, at the latest. A donation of $5 is asked to cover the cost.

During December and January we will be collecting gently-used coats to be distributed by Beautiful Feet in Fort Worth. All sizes are needed, children through adult! Please make sure coats are clean and in “working order”.
