Note: HVAC in the Church is on the Fritz

As you may know, last Sunday we had to meet in the Activities Building for church due to the HVAC not functioning properly. We are monitoring the condition of the HVAC system and hope to worship in the church this Sunday, but we will move back to the Activities Building if it is too warm. The system is very old and we are assessing the steps necessary to repair and/or replace. Thank you for understanding.

Journeys Group to Meet Saturday 8/12 at 11:30am This is a group that offers support, care, and compassion to those coping with grief, loss or any difficult life challenge. If you are seeking support through fellowship, please join us the second Saturday of each month from 11:30am-12:30 in the Activity Building. Reach Ministry to Meet Sunday 8/13 at Noon in the Activities Bldg. Come see what in-reach and out-reach ministry is all about at ECA. Typically meeting on the Second Sunday of each month after the 10:30am Service.

ECW Invites Everyone to Trivia Wednesday 8/16 at 7pm  ECW invites everyone to join us for Trivia Wednesday at Stout Brothers/Woodstock Beer in Downtown Woodstock.  Let Janice know if you need a ride.  Invite your husband, son, grandchildren, neighbor....!

ECA Book Club Cultured Pearls to Meet Thursday 8/17 at 2pm.

The book for August is ‘The Other Einstein’by Marie Benedict.  September’s book is ‘Next Year in Havana’by Channel Cleeton. To learn more, contact Lillian Stanton. 

Reach Collecting Food items for Local Food Pantries, Thank you for your Continued Support   ECA supports local charities Never Alone and Papa’s Pantry in their food ministries. Please bring donations Sundays before worship. Thank you for supporting these local charities! 

Spotlight on Ministry: Children and Youth Ministries

August's spotlight is on ECA Children & Youth Ministries. Children's Sunday School meets once a month on the first Sunday of each month (breaking for Summer). They also schedule fellowship events throughout the year. We are currently searching for a Youth Pastor to join us. Contact Molly Norman to learn more or volunteer to help with this ministry!

Father Paul on Sabbatical

Fr. Paul will be away during the months of June, July, and August on a well-deserved sabbatical for rest and refreshment. He will return with us on Sunday September 10th. The Rev.
