Two NAIA Football Players Honored

Each year, Allstate and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) recognize a select group of college football players from across the country by naming them to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®. The award, given for exemplary community impact, was established in 1992. This year, two of the 22 players recognized are from NAIA institutions. Reed Levi, a tight end at Benedictine College (Atchison, Kan.) and KJ Williams, a running back at Morningside University (Sioux City, Iowa) were both named to the 2025 Good Works Team. Congratulations to both these student-athletes and their football programs on such a prestigious honor.

Student-Athlete Experience & Development

Did You Know?

Did you know that 39% of NAIA student-athletes will not ask for help when needed and 23% prefer not to ask others for advice? (Moore et al., 2023) Recognizing that mental health issues are not only detrimental to performance, but disrupt the healthy function of college students, the NAIA wants to create a culture where student-athletes feel safe to reach out about mental health concerns in the same way one might reach out for care of an athletic injury.

The NAIA Mental Health Toolkit is a resource for student-athletes, coaches, and administrators to use to help identify and understand resources available for managing mental health concerns among your teammates and peers.
