When reading Scripture, I always enjoy the stories of Peter. I think it’s because of all the disciples, Peter is the one most of us can really relate to. He tries so hard to do the right thing, take care of Jesus, lead the disciples, but so many times his thoughts overpower his heart. Time and again we see Jesus grow Peter into His way, instead of Peter’s way. These are beautiful examples of why spiritual growth is so important. As believers, we should always be growing - growing our own faith and helping others to grow theirs. Here on the Hill, we can help you do it!
Coming this fall, we will be launching several small group opportunities. These groups will meet weekly, focusing on a specific topic, for 6-8 weeks. Some of these groups will go deep into topics such as who God is or our identity in Christ. There will be groups for women and for men, including a walking group that will encourage healthy growth along with spiritual growth. Each of these opportunities are available to you. Growing as a Follower is more than just a Bible study. It’s an opportunity to be with others, to challenge each other, and to pray for each other.
