WEEKLY UPDATE

When reading Scripture, I always enjoy the stories of Peter. I think it’s because of all the disciples, Peter is the one most of us can really relate to. He tries so hard to do the right thing, take care of Jesus, lead the disciples, but so many times his thoughts overpower his heart. Time and again we see Jesus grow Peter into His way, instead of Peter’s way. These are beautiful examples of why spiritual growth is so important. As believers, we should always be growing - growing our own faith and helping others to grow theirs. Here on the Hill, we can help you do it!

Coming this fall, we will be launching several small group opportunities. These groups will meet weekly, focusing on a specific topic, for 6-8 weeks. Some of these groups will go deep into topics such as who God is or our identity in Christ. There will be groups for women and for men, including a walking group that will encourage healthy growth along with spiritual growth. Each of these opportunities are available to you. To learn more about the groups being offered and to register, go to www.onthehill.life/grow/groups.

Growing as a Follower is more than just a Bible study. It’s an opportunity to be with others, to challenge each other, and to pray for each other. It’s the chance to Be Part of Something Bigger than ourselves. For more information on groups, please feel free to check out the Groups page or send an e-mail to groups@onthehill.life. I’m here to help!

Parenting Moment by Moment Workshop

September 16

Is time slipping through your hands? When your kids are small it feels like they will always be that way. Then you blink and they are in high school.

It is hard to live in the moment as a parent, but on September 16, we want to help you seize the little opportunities that arise daily to connect with your kids. It's important to consider the type of relationship you want to have with your adult children in the future and take intentional steps to move towards that goal now. Together, we'll discover practical ways to invest in your relationship with your children, fostering a lasting connection that will guide them into adulthood.

Join us On the Hill from 9 am - 1 pm for Parenting Moment By Moment. This workshop led by Becca Gunyon, author of Making Ordinary Moments Extraordinary, is designed to empower and equip parents of children from birth through graduation. The goal? To help you make ordinary moments extraordinary in your parenting journey. Visit onthehill.life/parenting for more information or to sign up.
