The Dragon Armoire, Tiffin University’s professional clothes closet for current TU students, is opening in the Spring, and they are accepting clothing donations! Career Services is currently accepting new and gently used professional attire for the armoire including full suits, suit jackets and blazers, professional shirts and blouses, dress slacks, skirts, and dresses.
Donations can be dropped off to Career Services, which is located in the Murphy Academic Support Center between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday. The Murphy Academic Support Center can be found on the corner of Miami Street and Route 53. Welcome new member, Plasonite! Plasonite strives for excellence in 3D Design and FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) plastic fabrication. They put customer service and their customers outcomes at the forefront of their business. Plasonite began in early 2023 by Mark Flayler with the creation of his printer farm and has grown exponentially through community involvement, online sales, and local shows.
Plasonite currently has over a dozen professional grade machines to meet customer demands for their orders and is continually growing as demand increases. They do everything from small jobs where you cannot find replacement parts to existing equipment or appliances to large quantity orders for your organization. Plasonite, since its inception, has been involved in community organizations and programs such as Lemonade Day, Tiffin's Wizarding Weekend, local school PTO fundraisers, the Chamber Golf outing, and many other events where their products have been used or handed out. Join the Seneca County Emergency Management Agency in partnership with Destination Seneca County, Downtown Tiffin, Fostoria Chamber of Commerce, Fostoria Economic Development Corporation, Seneca County General Health District, Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership, for essential sessions tailored for business owners and community stakeholders gearing up for the upcoming total solar eclipse in Seneca County on April 8.
These sessions are designed to equip our community with crucial insights and strategies for a safe and successful experience during this celestial event.
Sessions will be on Monday, February 26 at 9 AM at North Central Educational Service Center, 1 PM at the Fostoria Learning Center, and 5:30 PM at Seneca East Local Schools.
Sessions are free and any community member is welcome and encouraged to attend along with local business owners and stakeholders. Interested attendees are asked to RSVP in advance here.

The Chamber is excited to announce the continued partnership with Kim Radison for the AHOP Women's Leadership Series for a fourth year.
AHOP Women’s Leadership Series provides empowering opportunities for women to grow in their leadership roles within their organizations. Discussion is focused on the book How Women Rise: Break the 12 Habits Holding You Back from Your Next Raise, Promotion, Or Job.
The program will take place on the third Tuesday of the month from 10 am to 12 pm from February 20, 2024 through June 18 at the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce's conference room. Meeting dates will be February 20, March 19, April 23, May 21, and June 18. Register today here.

You will have the opportunity to partake in an American Red Cross Adult First Aid, CPR, AED Blended Course through the American Red Cross partner, The Pulse Partner. This course features both an online portion completed prior to the in-person class and then hands-on learning during the 2 hour in-person session. At the end of the course, you will receive a 2 Year Adult First Aid CPR, AED certification via email and be able to help someone in need if you ever find yourself in that position.
There will be two sessions, one at 10am and another at 2pm taking place on February 20, 2024 at the North Central Ohio Educational Center. Spots are limited, so sign up today!
