Saturday, December 2

  • Street Eats, A Kailua Village Food Truck Festival
  • 11 am to 5 pm

Street Eats returns to Historic Kailua Village and fills the Village with wafting aromas of savory goodness from new and mainstay trucks, food carts and local restaurant pop-ups on Saturday, December 2 from 11 am to 5:00 pm on Alii Drive. Culinary creations and ono grinds will be the inspiration to satisfy the cravings of community residents and visitors.

Saturday, December 9

  • Kailua-Kona Christmas Parade
  • 5 pm

On Saturday, December 9 bring the entire family down to Historic Kailua Village for the 37th annual Kailua-Kona Christmas parade. Tutu’s Kalikimaka, Through the Eyes of our Keiki themed parade starts at 5 pm, with announcing stations throughout the village. The parade is presented by Rotary Clubs of West Hawaii and the Kailua Kona Community Parade Association.
Sunday, December 10

  • Kokua Kailua Stroll
  • 1 pm to 6 pm

Looking for locally made crafts for that special gift? Stroll Historic Kailua Village and shop small on Sunday, December 10 from 1 to 6 pm on Alii Drive. Support village merchants, artists and musicians as Alii Drive becomes a pedestrian-only mall.

  • Kailua Kalikimaka Holiday Concert
  • 4 pm

As a gift to the community, the Kailua Village Business Improvement District is happy to present a free holiday concert on Sunday, December 10 from 4 to 5 pm featuring the 5-time Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner Nāpua Greig on center stage.

  • 8th Annual Lighted Boat Parade
  • 6 pm

The holiday fun continues with the Lighted Boat Parade at 6 pm on Sunday, December 10. Kona’s fleet will put on a jovial show in Kailua Bay. Body Glove will be docked at Kailua Pier for great viewing with food and beverages available for purchase.
Sunday, December 17

  • 16th Jingle Bell Beach Run
  • 7:30 am

After a 3-year hiatus, the annual Jingle Bell Beach Run returns with fun, family-oriented running event in the heart of Kona, starting and finishing at the beautiful Coconut Grove Marketplace. The Christmas themed fun run is scheduled for Sunday, December 17th, starting at 7:30 am and features a 5K and a Santa's Keiki Dash for children ages 6 years and under.
