We just concluded a very successful gala this past November 4. It was wonderful to connect with so many of you who were able to attend!



In this season of Thanksgiving, I want to thank each and every one of you for walking side by side with our youth and families. Your support has meant so much.

HOLIDAY GIVING WITH SIDE BY SIDE

Each holiday season, Side By Side partners with schools, organizations, and businesses throughout the Bay Area to help fulfill Wish Lists for the clients that we serve. Many of our clients are from low-income families or are former foster youth living on their own with limited resources. Side By Side hopes to brighten our young people’s holiday season by ensuring that each has a present to unwrap. 

Do want to make a wish come true this holiday season? There's still time. Contact the Side By Side Development Department (development@sidebysideyouth.org) to find out how your school or organization can help fulfill holiday wishes for our clients served in Alameda, Marin, Napa, and Sonoma Counties.

Also, this year, we have partnered again with the Marin Country Mart to decorate their tree with Side By Side gift tags. Stop by Marin Country Mart, shop, eat, and choose a gift tag from their giving tree representing a gift for one of our Bay Area youth. Then shop for your gift at the Mart or elsewhere and bring it back to the Mart's Post Office unwrapped with the gift tag attached. Side By Side will make sure it gets to the youth you selected. Youth also request Amazon gift cards. You will find those at the Mart's Post Office or, of course, online at our Amazon Wish List.

Marin Country Mart Giving Tree Details:

• Location: Marin Country Mart - 2003 Larkspur Landing Cir, Larkspur, CA 94939
• Dates: November 30, 2023, until December 31, 2023.
• Note: Side By Side team members will have an information table during the Mart's tree lighting ceremony. Meet us there on November 30, 2023, around 5 PM.

TAY SPACE HOLIDAY STORE

Opens December 12 - December 15

This season, help TAY Space stock their store!

TAY Space is looking for donations of new or

gently-used items, for all ages.

Donations such as candles, frames, books, blankets, clothing,

games, toys, kitchen supplies, etc., will be

gratefully accepted for their store.

TAY Space youth will shop and choose gifts to wrap and give to

loved ones.

Items may be dropped off from now until December 8 at the

TAY Space offices:

810 Fifth Avenue, San Rafael
