Consumer spending remained high through the first half of the year and summer travel picked up but as we headed toward the fourth quarter we had to really think out-of-the-box and truly in industries like my own get out-of-the-box and hustle the networking scene to build from a different angle. I've come to value as well as increase my B2B (business to business) relationships for growth potential, expert knowledge and diversity, and increased inspiration to keep striving.


However, small businesses in America are still facing a variety of obstacles on a daily basis — many of which are outside of what they can control. Meanwhile, consumers are facing their own challenges, rewriting everything from where and how they communicate to when they shop or don't shop.
