It's that time of year again! This will be the third year for the CommuniTree Project! Come grab an ornament from our office, 96 South Washington Street, in the lobby area and decorate it to represent your business!

Business ornaments will be hung on the community tree in downtown alongside 400+ others that will be decorated by local 5th graders. Once you are done decorating, just return it to the same place you picked it up from, the black bin with the red lid in the lobby pictured above, during our office hours. Ornaments are available on a first come, first serve basis.

ALL ornaments must be returned no later than November 21st.

Congratulations to the Tiffin Glass Collectors Museum & Shoppe on cutting the ribbon to celebrate 25 years!

The Tiffin Glass Museum honors the heritage established by the men and women of Tiffin’s “Glass House”. Through preservation and education, the museum safe-guards glassware made by the artisans from the factory’s nearly hundred-year history. Museum preservation work includes acquiring memorabilia and historical documents from the factory’s beginnings in 1889 until its closing in 1984. The Gift Shoppe features products from the original Tiffin Glass Factory where beautiful stemware, tableware and decorative ware was produced from 1889 to 1980. In addition to the large selection of Tiffin Glass, other fine glassware, collectibles, and books are offered for sale in the multi-dealer cabinets.

We are so thankful for this establishment, organization, and the dedicated volunteers who help preserve and educate on the impact that the glass industry had on shaping our community. Stop in to start exploring and shopping today! The Tiffin Glass Museum and Shoppe can be found at 25-27 South Washington Street in downtown Tiffin. Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate, here's to another great 25 years and beyond! For more pictures of the ribbon cutting, click here.

Thank you to Coppus Motors for hosting an awesome After Five Networking Event on Thursday! Their customers and Chamber members were able to enjoy food, drinks, and good company!

Congratulations to Terra State Community College on the opening of its National Machinery LLC's Advanced CNC Lab. The newly renovated, well-equipped CNC lab and training facility exemplifies Terra State's commitment to maintaining a modern lab with state-of-the-art equipment in the school's technology and skilled trade study programs.

Renovations and updates to the CNC lab at Terra State were made possible thanks to a generous donation by National Machinery and through additional grant funds. More than $190,000 was invested into the lab between these different sources.

Manufacturing is more alive than ever in Ohio and especially in Seneca and Sandusky Counties. A partnership such as this one between private and public entities coming together shows the progress that can be made when solution-oriented minds are at the forefront of decision making.

Thank you to all who attended the celebration and grand opening of the lab today and to everyone who made this important new space a reality. It was an honor to be there and witness this exciting advancement! For more pictures of the ceremony, click here.

Join the Seneca Regional Chamber Ambassadors as they host a Ribbon Cutting for the opening of Spoke Life Cycles in Tiffin at 70 East Market Street on Wednesday, November 8 at 4 PM.

Boasting a carefully curated selection of esteemed brands including Cannondale, Specialized, Giant and electric bikes from Denago, Biria and Aventon. Other brands include GT Pivot, Santa Cruz, Salsa, TerraTrike and Trident Trike. Spoke Life Cycles positions itself as a sanctuary for cycling enthusiasts spanning various disciplines. Beyond being a retail hub, the store embodies the founders' shared passion, fostering a cycling community and camaraderie between those who love the sport.

Alongside its curated offerings, the new Spoke Life Cycles store is to house a comprehensive service department. Equipped to handle maintenance and repairs for an array of bike brands, this service element solidifies cyclists' trust in their gear and fosters a supportive cycling ecosystem.

Taking the reins as the store manager in Tiffin is Mitchell Stearns, a seasoned cycling enthusiast with decades of experience repairing a diverse array of bikes. His journey began as a teenager, teaching himself how to repair and tune up bikes so he could afford his own. Stearns, who has been servicing bikes for locals over the years, is thrilled to lead the new store and continue his passion for cycling within the Tiffin community.

Join the Seneca Regional Chamber Ambassadors as they host a Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, November 9 at 4 PM for the opening of Good Shepherd Kennels at 3650 East Township Road 164, outside of Green Springs. They will also have an open house on Saturday, November 11 from 8 AM to 7 PM.

Ernie Berry, the Owner Good Shepherd Kennels, has been working with his own guide dogs for 25 years, and he has developed the skills needed to train dogs. Ernie’s philosophy is to fully train a dog and then teach their owners how to maintain the training.

Good Shepherd Kennels offers boarding for dogs of all sizes. Dogs that weigh 40 pounds and under cost $30 per night. Dogs 40 to 100 pounds are $34 per night. Dogs over 100 are $38 per night. Berry offers various specials, including discounts for additional dogs, long stays and second visits. Dogs who are in the training program can board at no charge.

Berry’s rural homestead has plenty of space for boarding and training and has built four indoor kennels and added an approximately 5,000-square-foot outdoor run. Give Ernie a call today at 419-973-0017.

Join the Seneca Regional Chamber Ambassadors as they host a Ribbon Cutting in partnership with the City of Tiffin's Engineers Office to celebrate the reopening of the Ella Street Bridge in Tiffin, on Tuesday, November 28 at 4 PM.

The existing Ella Street Sandusky River Bridge was originally constructed in 1914 and was rehabilitated in 1979. An impressive 4,000 vehicles pass over the bridge daily, so this project has been on the City’s radar for many years. In 2022, the City of Tiffin finalized the design and solicited bids for the construction and construction administration and inspection contracts for the Ella Street River Bridge Replacement Project.
