Smart Business Dealmakers Conference

The Dealmakers Conference was held on November 2, 2023 with rave reviews. Approximately 300 M&A advisors, investors and dealmakers connected at the Interlachen Country Club in Edina, Minnesota. The event featured a full day of high energy sessions including "Building a Pipeline", "Mastering the Sell-Side Success", "Navigating the Murky Economic Environment", "Tips for Transitioning a Business" and "Preparing for the Liquidity Event". During lunch Jacob Frey, the Mayor of Minneapolis, participated in a panel discussion focusing on the revitalization of downtown Minneapolis. Transitions In Business was proud to be one of the sponsors of this educational event that offered excellent industry networking.

Financing Deals in Q2 2022 vs Q2 2023

Year-over-year trends show an increase in cash at closing with the exception of companies which sold between $5MM to $50MM.
