Beginning on January 1, 2023, the lower age for patient inclusion in the colorectal cancer screening (CRC) measure decreased from 50 to 45 years old, increasing the number of patients eligible for colorectal cancer screening and included in measure performance.

AHP promotes evidence-based approaches to Comprehensive Developmental Screenings (CDS). To support this best practice, AHP has secured institutional access to the Bright Futures Tool and Resource Kit, 2nd Edition, which is now available to all AHP practices at no cost to them.

Further, the group expects that Novavax COVID-19 vaccines will be added to the program in the fall.

Federal Internet Connectivity Program Available to Low-Income Individuals and Families: The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), previously known as the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB), is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program that connects individuals in need with monthly subsidies and device discounts to help them get online, and stay connected to the internet.

AHP will host Clinical Grand Rounds on October 25, 2023. The event will feature a large group session with pediatric and adult primary care providers and will then break out into pediatric and adult groups. This event will be hosted via Zoom from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
