The project site work is underway! This is a great milestone for the project and it will prepare the area for the upcoming groundbreaking - which is scheduled for January.
The project is still pending the state’s Phase II approval. Once this is received, the project will go out to Phase II bidding. In this step, the Construction Manager will hire all the contractors for the project.
Since site work has begun, please be alert in the area of the middle school. The construction entrance will be through Herbert Porter Road (the road that enters Watrous Park). Current construction activities include tree clearing for the creation of a sidewalk, water line relocation, trailer pad construction, and other site prep tasks.
