Happening #80 originally scheduled for September 27-29 has been rescheduled for January 10-12, 2025, with a backup snow date of January 24-26. Registration for the event has been extended through December 31, 2024. If you are already registered, you don't need to register again! If you would like to cancel your registration, please contact Fr. David.

If you have previously attended a Happening and would like to serve on staff, we'd love to have you!

Diocesan Convention Lock-In

The 2024 Diocesan Convention will be held at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral in Kansas City on November 8-9. The Youth Presence will include participating in the Convention Eucharist, an overnight lock-in at the Cathedral, a Q&A session with our Bishop Provisional, and more. This year’s convention will culminate in the election of our IX Bishop.

Hosted at Grace, Carthage this retreat will be the first Happening in West Missouri since before the pandemic. It is open to youth in grades 9-12.

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our events in September! They were a big success. The game nights were a lot of fun and I know the bishop candidates enjoyed talking with those who attended the Youth DIOlogues. Please make sure to keep Jimmy, Amy, Molly, and Brad in your prayers as we get closer to the election, and make sure to keep your youth delegates in your prayers as well! They are there to represent you so if you have thoughts on the bishop election or anything else make sure you share that with them, or with me.

SUMMA Theological Debate Camp

This year's camp takes place July 15-23, 2025!

The SUMMA Theological Debate Summer Camp brings together high school students from across the country to one of the largest and most beautiful college campuses anywhere – the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. By exploring life’s biggest questions through theological debate, we broaden students’ understanding of Christianity and its enduring power to speak the truth in love.
