PTSA NOMINATING COMMITTEE

It is almost the end of 2023, and we can't believe how quickly time is flying by - so quickly that we are already thinking about next year's PTSA Board and are looking to put our NOMINATING COMMITTEE together. 

The Nominating Committee serves a critical role by identifying and nominating individuals to serve on the 2024-2025 PTSA Executive Board and Board of Directors. The success of the PTSA in supporting our school and community relies on the passion, dedication, and diversity of our volunteers, and the Nominating Committee helps find the right people for the right job!  

We are looking for individuals who are friendly, inquisitive, and like getting together for coffee or tea and meeting new people. If this sounds like you, or if you would like more information about the committee, please fill out the short form found here and we will reach out to connect!

Our teachers had plenty of goodies along with lattes (complete with latte art!) to start their day! Keep an eye out for more Staff Appreciation Events in the new year - this is a great way to get involved with the BHS parent community while supporting our amazing teachers and staff!

BHS REFLECTIONS ART AWARDS

Dear Artists, 

Thank you for inspiring us with your interpretation of this year's hopeful theme. It's truly a gift to share your talents with the world. 

It's always a difficult decision for the judges and this year was no exception. The following lists the awards for the local BHS entries. Those marked with an asterisk will be moving on for BSD 405 District competition. 

If you are interested in featuring your artwork at an art walk for the community in February, please reply and we will see if there is enough response to pull an event together. Please reply by December 15 if you want to participate in an art walk.

We should know the results from District judging in January, so students with advancing entries will be updated then.

Each one of you who contributed your work has something important to share, and we hope that you will continue to create.

高中四年级照片和报价提交-2/2/24截止日期：即日起至2月2日，电子邮件 bhsbeacon@bsd405.org和标题栏为“高年级学生肖像，报价+您的学生的名字和姓氏”。逾期提交的材料将不被接受。

金刚狼卫队

金刚狼卫队 （WG）是贝尔维尤高中 PTSA 赞助的奖项，旨在表彰在5月 1 日至 4 月 30 日的 12 个月内执行 100+ 小时社区服务的学生。每个报告100小时或以上批准小时的学生将获得金刚狼卫队社区服务奖。在上一学年，WG 有 98 名贝尔维尤高中学生获得了 2022-2023 学年的金刚狼卫队证书！

• 所有 9-12 年级的 BHS 学生如果符合要求，都有资格参加 WG。
• 在 BHS 的四年中至少有两年获得 WG 的学生将在毕业时有资格获得 WG 蓝/金荣誉线;在 BHS 志愿了 4 年的学生将获得 WG 杰出社区志愿奖。
• 申请必须包括志愿者时间日志，日志表格应详细，并由志愿者协调员签名。
• 志愿服务是通过非营利组织（通常是501c3 组织）进行的。
• PTSA WG 计划与贝尔维尤学区毕业志愿者时间要求分开。我们不与Naviance协调，只接受金刚狼守卫的时间日志。

申请截止日期为 2024 年 4 月 30 日午夜。逾期申请将不被接受！

 George老师和Harvey老师会把BHS管乐队将近的所有演出，特殊活动和筹款活动的经过与信息分享给大家，还有您怎样能够参与志愿者活动并支持您的孩子与管乐队！我们有许多快乐的活动！
