Shattered Dreams and radiant hope

In the heart of winter, as we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King's birth and legacy, I find myself revising his profound insights. In his message "Shattered Dreams", he says that in a time of change we may be bitter and resentful, withdraw within, or adopt a fatalistic philosophy. But, he encourages us that we always must turn to “a radiant hope” we have in Christ.

Our District Training this Saturday will point to this hope through worship, prayers, fellowship, and workshops. May God strengthen us and all of our churches as we learn together.

The NIC office uses the statistics you report to asses how your church is doing, to report to the larger denomination, and to calculate apportionments for your church. It’s very important that we have accurate, up-to-date information. 2023 statistics can be entered at stats.gcfa.org. The deadline is February 29, 2024. For resources and more information, click here.
