Scheduled Lab Air Compressor Shutdown – 700 Albany St. (W Building)


Due to construction in the building, there will be a scheduled shutdown of the lab air compressors at 700 Albany St. (W Building) from 5-7 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22.

BMC Vose Building Demolition Project


Boston Medical Center will demolish the Vose building over the next 9 months. Abatement work on the building’s windows and roof will begin Aug. 20.

 

BU Facilities Management & Operations will work with BMC to minimize any impact to academic or research activity. More information will follow. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.

STaRS, UROP, SPIN Scholars Present at GMS Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium


The cohort included six second-year undergraduates, seven third-year undergraduates, three fourth-year undergraduates and one Boston University medical student. The scholars come from colleges and universities across the continental U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Save the Date: Provost Workshop on ChatGPT and other Generative AI

This workshop will educate staff and faculty about ways to use ChatGPT and other Generative AI tools effectively and ethically. Participants will walk away with concrete action items that can be implemented in educational and research settings. This is an entry-level workshop with learning opportunities for new and experienced users. Registration to come.
