Updates For Our Community

Dear Hallett Families,

We can't wait for all of our exciting holiday happenings this week! A quick reminder that doors will open at 5:15pm on Thursday for our students' Winter Performance. Discovery Link will be business per usual that day.

Please make sure you are sending your child to school prepared with a coat, hat and gloves. We go outside if it's over 32 degrees and our students are out there for 20 minutes.

Have your children continue to keep up with their reading! This week we'll be sending them home with a reading bingo to complete for prizes over the break.

We hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Thank you,

Charmaine V. Keeton

School Shoutouts

Family Engagement Organization - Sending a huge thank you to our FEO for coming in and cleaning the teacher lounge/kitchen area!

Pennies for Veterans - We raised over $50 through collecting Pennies for Veterans! We will be donating the money to the Veterans at Fitzsimons Community Living Center.

Mrs. Jaya - Thank you for running our Artwalk and Cookies and Canvas this week! Our families had a blast at both events.

Kayla - Thank you for setting up the Scholastic Book Fair! We hope our students enjoy their new books!

ECE Applications

Families applying to enroll in an ECE-3 or ECE-4 program are strongly encouraged to submit a SchoolChoice application during Round 1. Submitting an application during Round 1 of SchoolChoice offers families the best chance of obtaining a seat at their desired preschool program. Round 1 opens at 10 a.m. on Jan. 11 and closes at 4 p.m. on Feb. 12, 2024. Following your DPS SchoolChoice application submitted during Round 1, DPS will reach out to families to provide the next steps for completing an application for funding support through Universal Preschool (UPK) Colorado. Visit the DPS Early Childhood Education (ECE) webpage for more information on how to apply!

We want to "thank" our Hallett Academy Teachers and Staff! Click here to leave a note on our kudoboard for any of your favorite Hallett staff members!
