Welcome to St. Laurence

This Second Sunday of Advent, we honour the fourth-century saint Nicholas, Bishop of Myra, renowned for generosity and good works. In the spirit of St. Nicholas, patron of children and sailors, we invite you to bring, as you are able, an unwrapped gift or article of clothing that we will donate to Made By Momma--who never turn any mom or dad away, and serve countless families in need.

Join us each week in the Sunshine Room at 11:20 for reflection on theology, spirituality, and current events.

Soup supper at 5:00 followed by the service at 6:00.

This service is designed for those who may find the Christmas season difficult.

We gather for hope, healing and comfort. All are welcome to attend.

Our Christmas offering will be to our sister Church, The Parish of Emmanuel, Ramleh Israel in this time of crisis. Please put Emmanual Church on the memo line of your cheque.

Christmas flower donations will be collected on December 10. Please see the altar guild following the services. All donations must be in by Sunday December 10th. Please make sure to note whether the donation is in memorial or in thanksgiving for.

Calendars Anglican Church of Canada

I have had word that the much-delayed calendars should be here in a couple weeks. The calendars have beautiful photos of Anglican churches across Canada and also dates of holy days in the church year. At $5, they are quite affordable.
