What does the scholarship include?

• One (1) Full Show Pass to the 2024 CD/NLA Show at the Gaylord National ($475)
• Three (3) paid nights at host hotel, Gaylord National Resort ($775)
• One (1) year NLA membership if scholarship winner is not currently an NLA member ($395+)
• Networking and education to grow your business (Priceless!)

What is the criteria for applicants?

1. Own a chauffeured transportation company that has at least one (1) vehicle
2. Have the required local/state/federal licensing and proper insurance
3. Work chauffeured transportation as your primary business
4. Have never attended an NLA event or Chauffeur Driven Show in any capacity previously
5. Have not previously been awarded a Scholarship by the NLA

The application deadline is Thursday, September 12, 2024.

COVID-19 Government Disaster Loans Saved Businesses, But Saddled Survivors With Debt

NEW YORK (AP) — In 2020 and 2021, COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loans were a lifeline for small businesses.

But now some small businesses are having trouble paying them off. And a Small Business Credit Survey report from the 12 Federal Reserve banks shows that small businesses that haven’t paid off COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loans are in worse shape than other small businesses.

Americans Are Embracing Biometric Security At Airports

The results are in. And as it turns out, despite the naysayers, Americans are happy about the use of biometric security measures at airports.

The U.S. Travel Association, in conjunction with Ipsos, have just released survey results  underscoring this reality.

Travelers it seems, enjoy the efficiency that biometric technology provides at airports, as well as the enhanced security it offers.
