Attend the traditional youth-led worship and honor our graduating seniors: Avery Althaus, Lizzie Brock, Lily DaMommio, Corey Kerlick, and Victoria Muller. We welcome everyone to join in this celebration of our seniors!

"Baobab Blast" VBS Week
June 19-23 from 8:45 am to 12 pm

Gethsemane invites all children age 3 by June 19, 2023, including those completing 6th grade, to register for our FREE in-person VBS Week! Join us for storytelling, music, craft time, recreation/games, and a light snack. Invite friends, relatives, and neighbors to participate as well!

Adults of all ages, as well as 6th graders and up, are invited to volunteer at VBS. We need your help, even if you can only assist one day! The Gethsemane community is well known for its incredible commitment to supporting our children and youth, and we know this year's VBS will be no exception. Volunteering at VBS is such a fun and truly fulfilling experience!

Special Adult Sunday School Presentation on 2023 Churches for Middle East Peace Summit
Sunday, June 4 at 9:30 am
Gethsemane members Tammie Danielsen and Sharon Wiggins attended the Peace Summit in Washington D.C. in April with support from the Gethsemane Benevolent Fund, and they will share their experience with the adult Sunday School class.

Go Gray in May for Brain Cancer & Ependymoma Awareness Month
Katrina’s Cocoon Crew (KCC) is a non-profit organization started by Katrina as she was going through cancer treatment to bring smiles to children with cancer by providing costumes, dress-up, pajamas, etc.

Eagle Pass Frontera Ministries
Talking with Emma Espino Olvera reminds you we’re all called to be saints, and that perhaps the only thing standing in our way is a willingness to say “yes” to the call. Since 2019, Emma has hosted migrants who need a welcoming place to arrive in the U.S., up to 40 people per day at the peak. She lives on-site with her husband Julio Vasquez, the pastor of Iglesia Luterana San Lucas. “We started to see groups of kids, just sitting on the corner waiting, waiting for nothing,” Emma said. “Whole families were there, with nothing to eat.” Read more.
