How wonderful that our little church at the end of Pray Blvd and our family of believers are so active in reaching out to our community and the surrounding area. No matter what we are facing, God is in charge and He will continue leading us today, tomorrow and in the future.
Sunday, November 5, 2023, will be the kick off for our 2024 General Fund Stewardship
Campaign, which supports our operational budget / expenses for the coming year. The
budgeting process and campaign planning have already begun, and we ask for your prayers in support of this all-important annual endeavor.
As members of WUMC we have all committed both as individuals and as a congregation to support His work through our time, our talents, our gifts, our service and our witness. Over the next few weeks, you will be receiving a variety of information for your review, as you to prayerfully consider not only your financial commitment, but also what part you may play in support of God’s work.
Let us all truly focus on looking at our world through God’s eyes, seeking the answer to the question: What does God want to do through me?
Please contact Tom Wiggins, financialsec@watervilleumc.org if you have any questions about anything related to financial giving, the Stewardship Campaign or the Capital Fund.

On October 28th we will host our 2nd "Fall-o-ween Jesus Trunk or Treat". This will be at our church from 2-4pm and will include "trunk or treat" for community kids. Think about how you can participate by opening your car trunk and passing out candy, stickers, stamps, pumpkins, apples, or whatever you think appropriate. You may decorate your trunk and dress up in costume if you'd like. PLEASE, no witches, devils, ghosts or other scary decorations or costumes, we want to glorify God in this event. There is a sign up sheet located on the Welcome Table in the Gathering Space. Put on your thinking caps and come up with fun ways to show the kids in our community how to 'follow Jesus.' | |
