MESSAGE FROM FR. JEFF

Hello everybody!

Thank you for a great start to our Catholic Services Appeal efforts this year! You can see our progress in the Giving Together section below. As Archbishop Shelton mentioned in his CSA video, as we give in the memory of Jesus, our gifts become the answer to other people’s prayers. May God work through us to help meet the needs of others!

Our school is an amazing learning community of students, families, faculty, and staff. Word has spread and many families are choosing to become part of Saint Patrick Catholic School. A number of our grades had waitlists last year and kindergarten was completely full. This year looks to be the same. Admission season has already begun and the first step is to go to stpatlou.org, click on the school menu, and fill out an inquiry form. The deadline for applications is January 15. Along with that, tuition assistance applications should be submitted by November 30, 2023. Existing school families can complete the application through your FACTS account or you may go to ceflou.org for more information and to access the application. Our parish community supplements the financial assistance provided by the Catholic Education Foundation, but the first step is the same. Please contact Dave Naber, our Business Manager, at 502-244-6083 with any questions. Thanks!

In this fall season, I am often struck by the beauty around us. My heart is drawn by that beauty to God, the creator of the universe. May his beauty, all around, continue to also shine through us! God bless you.

Peace,

Fr. Jeff
