The first step of my VIRTUAL TRANSFORMATION is deciding your style.

Using the same house, I showed 3 different styles that could be used. CONTEMPORARY, MODERN FARMHOUSE/EURO and CAPE COD

are some that I often do.

BEFORE...

Again, a case of all one color which can look bland but I really like the curved roof of the entry and the overall shape of the home. I feel like this entry could be more eye catching and that is always one of my goals when doing a 'transformation'.

Contemporary...

For this style I often use wood, black and white. As always updating the front door and the garage door really sets the tone for the style. Making the entry all wood really draws your eye in.

Modern Farmhouse...

For this look I often use lighter wood, white and greige. Again changing the front door and garage door instantly makes it look more classic. Painting the arched entry different from the rest of the house makes it stand out. The wood shutters really finishes the farmhouse look.

New England...

I use front facing gables, lots of bold white trim and cool colors for this look. Using a dark color really makes the white trim pop. I added a gable roofline over the entry but kept the barrel ceiling underneath. It was a great place to add wood shingles for this style. I also added extra trim around the garage door entry, curve trim on the gables, and a small accent on the window trim.

Obviously you are not limited to these looks but it shows

you how different a home can look by

changing color, wood accents, different doors, etc.
