The Foundation for Douglas County Schools' annual 2023 Lend A Hand School Supply Drive is in full swing, with the goal of collecting, purchasing, assembling and distributing backpacks and school supplies to DCSD students in need. This annual school supply drive is in its 13th year. The Foundation distributes between 1,500 -2000 backpacks annually.

Lend A Hand ensures that every student starts the 2023-2024 school year with the supplies they need to help them be successful in school. This program has been possible through the generosity of our community partners and individuals like you!

DEFENSIVE DRIVING AND SKID CONTROL CLASS

July 9 at ThundeRidge View High School

Foundation partner, Altitude Driving Academy, believes driver safety training should be a requirement, not a luxury. They offer defensive driving and skid control courses at a considerable discount over the typical cost of these courses AND a portion of registration will go back to DC Schools!

Altitude courses are the most comprehensive available, and their instructors - all active or retired police officers and law enforcement driving instructors - are the most highly trained and qualified. Find out more/Register HERE.
