Midland Streetscape Project Update September 1, 2023

MIDLAND SPUR IS OPEN!

The Midland Spur is now open. Please remember that the traffic flow is now one-way with the entrance at the intersection with Midland Avenue and the exit at the intersection with Two Rivers Road.

Phase 1 Midland Spur work represents approximately 30% of the entire Midland Streetscape project.

The Town of Basalt is extremely grateful to the neighboring residents and businesses on the Spur and to the entire project team.

There will be some continued work on Midland Spur that includes landscaping, electric, lighting and sidewalk construction.

New parking spots have also been added on Two Rivers Road as part of Phase 1 of the Midland Streetscape project.

We couldn't stop thinking of this song all week while the asphalt was going down!

PHASE 2

There will be no work on Phase 2 on Monday, September 4 in honor of Labor Day.
