Celebrating 160 Years!

Burger Boat Company was congratulated for celebrating its 160^th anniversary by the Wisconsin Marine Historical Society on Thursday May 25, 2023. The presentation was held at the Wisconsin Marine Historical Society’s Dinner at the South Shore Yacht Club in Milwaukee.

Jim Ruffolo and Ron Cleveringa, along with their wives, attended as representatives of Burger Boat Company and accepted the Achievement Award during the event. The society also presented a brief history of Burger to their membership, along with a letter of congratulations from their board stating:

On behalf of the Wisconsin Marine Historical Society, congratulations on this, the 160^th anniversary of the founding of Burger Boat Company. Your company’s outstanding integrity, leadership, and craftsmanship has made the name Burger known worldwide. Best wishes for continued success as you carry on the Burger legacy for another 160 years!

SET FREE, launched in 2021, is currently performing its second lap of America's Great Loop. The loop is approximately 6,000 miles long and can take anywhere from two months to a year to complete, depending on when and where you want to stop along the way. Someone You Should Know...

We are pleased to introduce the newest addition to our Human Resources Team - Brittany Mallien! Brittany holds the title of Human Resources Assistant and is helping with all Human Resource related functions. Although she has only been with Burger for four months, Brittany comes to us with many years of experience.

Brittany is obsessed with animals and has a 5-year old Goldendoodle named Lily. She loves taking her for walks and even calls Lily her fur child. She is also very fond of reading, especially the Harry Potter series, which she unabashedly claims are her favorite books.

Brittany's favorite thing about Burger Boat Company is the people and how well everyone is willing to help each other.
