Join the November Roundtable on Workforce Shortages

It's not a secret that workforce shortages are hurting dentistry. The ADA reports that vacant positions in dental assisting and dental hygiene have reduced dental practice capacity by an estimated 10% nationally. Join our special guests from the Colorado Dental Hygienists' Association and the CDA leadership, in addition to Julia Rohleder, D.M.D. and Rhonda Weatherbie-McLouth, R.D.H. at our next roundtable Nov. 29 to talk about how those issues are being addressed and what more we might do to address those shortages.

CDA Welcomes New Office Manager

If you call the CDA main phone number, you will probably speak to Amanda Dougherty, our new office manager. Amanda is here to get answers to your questions as quickly as possible and assist with member needs. Prior to joining the CDA, Amanda worked in healthcare IT as a client relationship manager, and she is excited to share her years of customer support experience with those who contact us. Amanda grew up in east Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (GO VOLS!) with a degree in political science. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, all things Disney, and spending time with her husband and two teenage sons. Her great love is travel across the USA and around the world, and she will choose a trip over a gift any time!

The day will be packed with the business of the House of Delegates and lots of networking. Watch for more details coming soon!
