These meetings are created to keep all participating CHI/LAT Grads informed of important deadlines, fees, day of instructions and to provide input on keynote speakers, performances, music and more!

   d) Mock Interview Practice




Each committee designates a specific role for a member to offer support for our club. Please see the descriptions of each committee below: 


1) Finance: Help us raise money to help fellow Aggies

2) Events: Directly impact the mental and physical health of Aggies

3) Outreach: Help us connect Aggies with us as well as other organizations on campus

4) Recruitment: Help us further our impact with more members

Hello everyone,

We are pleased to announce that our Student Outreach Assistant Job Posting is now listed in Handshake and ask your assistance in reaching out and letting your students know about this opportunity for employment.

 

EAOP is looking to hire multiple students for the next academic year (2024-2025) to help us promote post-secondary education to local middle school and High school students in Yolo, Sacramento Solano, and Stockton Counties.   

 

We are looking for individuals who desire to: 

  • Make a positive difference while working with first-generation and economically disadvantaged students. 
  • Inspire students to think beyond high school. 
  • Help and guide students in pursuing their post-secondary dreams. 
  • Be change agents in our local community. 

The vacancy is now listed on Handshake thru December 1st, with multiple positions to fill. As a reminder, we are hiring for the next academic year, starting in September 2024.

In addition, we are also holding three in person informational meetings so that interested candidates can get more information about what it is like working for EAOP. EAOP student staff will be available for Q&A.

  • November 17th, 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm at ARC Meeting Room 1 (Pizza provided)
  • November 27, 9:30 am – 10:30 am at ARC Meeting Room 1 (Breakfast Burritos Provided)

We have some exciting news! This week and next week Aggie Compass will be hosting a holiday food drive for all Satellite Pantries, the food drive's goal is to collect non-perishables for all pantries to stock up for the upcoming holiday season.

Dear Community, 


Join us as we host actress, businesswoman, and transgender rights advocate Angelica Ross during a two-part event centering the trans community at UC Davis!


From Marginalization to Liberation: A Conversation with Angelica Ross, will be hosted at the Mondavi Center on Friday, November 17th at 5:30, featuring a performance from dance group H20. Get your free ticket here. 


Before the event, we invite the LGBTQIA community to meet the team of campus partners who support TGI students at the Trans Advocacy Network Reception. Registrants will also take part in a meet and greet with Angelica Ross! Register for the reception here.

I want to cordially invite you to the Fall 2023 edition of the Chancellor’s Colloquium Distinguished Speaker Series which will be held on Tuesday, November 28. The speaker will be UC Regent José Hernández, a former NASA astronaut. As an astronaut, Hernández flew to the International Space Station as a flight engineer and performed robotic operations aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery. A special screening of the film A Million Miles Away will be shown followed by a Q/A with Chancellor May and Regent Hernández.
