Back to School Night is this Thursday, September 21!!!

Our Back to School Night event will be held this Thursday, September 21st from 4:15 PM-7:00 PM. Please be advised that this will be a VIRTUAL event. The schedule and links for each grade can be found below:

Please see details regarding the format of the evening below:

• The evening will begin with Town Hall meetings for each grade, which will be facilitated the grade level supervisor. These presentations will address school-wide policies and expectations, as well as information specific to each grade. Families will also be introduced I-Ready My Path, an application that all students have access to that allows them to work on skills in ELA and Math that are consistent with their performance levels.
• From 4:45-6:00, non core content teachers will be presenting to families. You will note that there are time slots in fifteen minute increments for each of these teachers. This will allow families to attend their child's teachers in these content areas as they wish. The presentations for each teacher will be the same in every time slot, so you need only attend one for each teacher.
• At 6:00 core content teacher presentations will begin. House teams will present together during these time slots.
• Please be aware that MATH teachers will have their own individual presentations. Please be sure to be aware of which teacher your child has and which math track your child is in so that you can attend the appropriate math presentation.

As a reminder, this event is not meant for conversations specific to individual student progress. Our first Parent Teacher conferences will be in November (information below). In addition, families can contact their child's teacher/s to set up a time to meet and/or speak with them.

Jupiter Electronic Gradebook

MS 104 utilizes Jupiter, an electronic gradebook platform, to allow families to keep track of their child's progress. In the coming days, an email will be sent from Jupiter inviting families to join the platform. Those families that do not have an email address on file with the DOE will not receive the invite. If you do not receive an invite email by the end of the week, please contact Mr. Comparetto or Ms. Rivera for assistance.

PTA Meeting on Thursday, September 21st!

The PTA will be holding its first meeting of the year this Thursday, September 21st at 9:00 AM. Please be aware that this meeting will be VIRTUAL. You must pre-register to attend the meeting.

Friday, November 17- 12:20 PM- 2:40 PM (PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS IS A HALF DAY. ALL STUDENTS WILL BE DISMISSED AT 11:30 AM)

¡¡La Noche de Regreso a Clases es este jueves 21 de septiembre!!!

Nuestro evento de Noche de Regreso a Clases se llevará a cabo este jueves 21 de septiembre de 4:15 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. Tenga en cuenta que este será un evento VIRTUAL. El horario y los enlaces para cada grado se pueden encontrar a continuación:

La velada comenzará con reuniones públicas para cada grado, que serán facilitadas por el supervisor de nivel de grado. Estas presentaciones abordarán las políticas y expectativas de toda la escuela, así como información específica de cada grado. A las familias también se les presentará I-Ready My Path, una aplicación a la que todos los estudiantes tienen acceso y que les permite trabajar en habilidades en ELA y Matemáticas que son consistentes con sus niveles de desempeño.

De 4:45 a 6:00, los maestros de contenido no básico presentarán a las familias. Notará que hay franjas horarias en incrementos de quince minutos para cada uno de estos maestros. Libro de calificaciones electrónico Júpiter

MS 104 utiliza Jupiter, una plataforma de libro de calificaciones electrónico, para permitir a las familias realizar un seguimiento del progreso de sus hijos. En los próximos días se enviará un correo electrónico desde Júpiter invitando a las familias a unirse a la plataforma. Aquellas familias que no tengan una dirección de correo electrónico registrada en el DOE no recibirán la invitación. Si no recibe un correo electrónico de invitación antes del final de la semana, comuníquese con el Sr. Comparetto o la Sra. Rivera para obtener ayuda.
