Hope-Mongering parent/caregiver support sessions

This month:

Meet a scientist working on the frontier of T1D research

October 19 @ 7pm on Zoom

Stephanie Fuchs (she/her) is a recently graduated PhD student from the Minglin Ma lab at Cornell University. Her dissertation research focused on bioengineering glucose-sensitive devices for electronics-free insulin delivery.

Stephanie is looking forward to sharing advances in the field of "smart" insulin-delivery devices and discussing the remaining challenges to bringing these novel therapies to the clinic.

About Hope-Mongering:

Each month we recruit an array of key voices to host a series of conversations: parents, young adults who grew up with T1D, health coaches, educators, dietitians, T1D doctors and nurses, and of course the GCC summer camp crew. It's a magic formula for conversation on raising a young person with T1D. We'd love for you to join us and add your voice, or just sit back and listen. Feel free to bring topics or questions.
