To Staff and the Twin Rivers School Community,

Public education is intended to help provide students with the skills that will enable them to achieve independence and success in their lives, and this sentiment has extreme importance for our nation’s homeless youth.  

It is a stunning fact that today, in one of the wealthiest nations in the world, we have unhoused students. In fact, statistics tell us that as many as 4.2 million youth per year experience some form of homelessness in this country.
