Staff Career Data Project

Through the Staff Career Data Project, Human Resources will work with managers and employees to gather and update staff education and past job experience in Workday. Staff are asked to update their education and experience in Workday by December 5.

The data entry phase is an important first step in this institution-wide project to enhance staff data integrity in Workday. Ultimately, this is intended to help develop staff and ensure their experience and education can be appropriately evaluated as their careers progress at Ohio State.

This information will be used to assess the placement of each staff member’s pay rate within their pay range. No immediate pay adjustments are planned.  

Have you activated your LinkedIn Learning yet? As a staff member, you have free, 24/7 access to learn at your own pace in courses that are relevant to your current role or also many other passions. There are 30-70 new courses added weekly, which gives you the ability to grow and develop in the areas you care about both at and outside of work. LinkedIn Learning provided by the Office of Human Resources, the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center and the University Staff Advisory Committee. 

Chair-Elect Update - Congratulations Tracey Boggs

Tracey Boggs has been elected as USAC’s Chair-Elect, filling a vacant seat left by a departing staff member. Tracey is a part of the Wexner Medical Center’s Human Resources team as a DEI Consultant and most recently served as Chair of USAC’s Inclusive Excellence Subcommittee. Tracey will join Debbie Pond, Kari Fox, and Ashley Van Hesteren on the 2023-2024 Executive Team. Congratulations Tracey!

PHA and Biometric Screening Required for Premium Credit

To earn the full 2024 premium credit, complete a verified biometric screening and the Personal Health and Well-being Assessment (PHA) by Dec. 31. You can reduce the cost of your medical contributions by $25 per month, or by $40 per month if your enrolled spouse also completes these steps. 

The OSU Health Plan manages the healthcare insurance benefits and services offered to faculty and staff at The Ohio State University.
