DEI LEARNING COHORT OPPORTUNITY IN FALL 2023 AND SPRING 2024

Earlier this year, nonprofit executive directors and CEOs participated in the Engaging in the DEI Journey learning cohort. To continue the investment in DEI learning, we have again partnered with Top RANK to offer two upcoming sessions of the Engaging in the DEI Journey learning cohort to additional nonprofit staff in Linn County.

Engaging in the DEI Journey is offered at no charge to the participants and includes lunch. The fall session begins on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. The spring session begins on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. These two sessions will be the same content. Registration is now open and space is limited. We request that each organization designate up to two participants per session to extend the reach of the training.

LINN COUNTY LAUNCHES NEW ONLINE RESOURCE HUB

Linn County has launched a new online community resource hub that helps people find information about critical needs, such as affordable housing, childcare, employment, food resources, health needs, legal assistance, and transportation. This resource hub digitizes the community resource sheet that Linn county Community Services has updated and shared with the community for more than 20 years. The new digital platform is interactive, allowing residents to search the entire database to identify resources that best meet their needs. The new hub also allows community resource providers to update their available resources on a regular basis instead of once a year. Visit the new online resource hub here.
